I found a funfair in Leicester Square. Funfair is a travelling show with stalls and amusements. It stays in a park or square in a city for about a month and travel to the next city. Although it is small, there is an impressively number of amusements such as a merry-go-round, a snack shop and some scream machines. The aspect that it suddenly appears and disappears in very short time, it is similar to phenomenon of cities.
レスタースクエアにファンフェアが来ていた。ファンフェアというのは移動式の小さな遊園地で、市内の小さな公園や広場に一月くらい展開し、街からと街へ旅している。小さいながらメリーゴーラウンドや軽食屋、絶叫系の乗り物まで一通り揃っていて、感心するくらいきちんと小さな夢の国を構成している。短期間で儚く消えてしまうその存在は、消えては現れる都市の風景そのものに似ている気がする。
