Following the point on centrality. In London, many of small parks have a statute of king or a shed at the centre, and benches are surrounding it. This spatial structure makes the central part stand out and the rest becomes less noticeable. Thanks to the strong centrality, people feel less embarrassed although they are sitting right next each other in a small area.

中心性の話が出たので、それに関して。ロンドンの小さな公園では、中央に王の銅像や小さな小屋があり、それを囲むように円形にベンチが配置されている場合が多い。それは中心にあるものを際立たせ、それを囲んでいる僕達の存在は軽くなる。確固たる中心があることで、小さな範囲で向き合って座っていても気まずさを感じることが少ないような気がする。
