Although this picture is out of season, a scene from a music festival in Clapham Common. In a park which is supposed to be quiet place of relaxation, rock music sounds loudly. Now a Christmas market from Germany is held in the Hyde park. Parks in London are much hardly used than what we vaguely imagine from its name.

随分と季節外れの写真だけが、夏にロンドン南部のClapham Commonという公園で行われたフェスの様子。普段は静かな憩いの場に、大きな音でロックが響く。現在ハイド・パークではドイツからクリスマスマーケットがやってきているらしい。ロンドンの公園は、僕たちが漠然と抱くイメージよりも随分と多様な使われ方をしているようだ。
